winteri don’t hate winter anymore because it doesn’t mean
“losing you.” it just means “snowflakes” and “fairylights”

and “a sad messiah.” but i like winter from inside cars
behind frosted window panes and under thick creamy

blankets. we used to drive down the white streets and
we would count the street lights and traffic lights and

christmas lights like they were stars. those were the days
we believed we could wish on anything from snowflakes

to the snowbanks you would sometimes throw me into
your face pressed against my neck whistling sweet warm

One small, five-letter word that means

The dictionary describes change as: 'to become altered or modified.'
But is that really just it? They don't specify the
Amount of change. Change can be HUGE...
Or it can simply just be so small. How big or how

Why doesn't Life come with a handbook that
Helps people--people mainly like me--
Who can't cope with change very well;
If we can at all?...

I've experienced both immense changes and
Tiny, minuscule changes. Which one's worse?

My Knight in Shining ArmorSome knights have armor
That gleams just like the sun.

Frozen FlameI just noticed that

But instead you just smiled
Right before breaking my heart

So now I am crushed
While you are still free
You're more happy now
That you have forgotten me

The roses are dead
But the violets stayed true
They have left my life

Aww...it's sad and sweet at the same time. I like it. But on your third stanza and third line I think you meant to say 'you're' and not 'your'. Just saying.
